PLTW Principles of Engineering - State

PLTW curriculum is used for this agreement. If students want university transcripted credits, go to the MN PLTW website www.mnpltw.org, click on the university credit tab to download forms. Clarification of MN PLTW ACC- (Articulated College Credit) and transcripted credits. Students who use the ACC system do not pay a fee. ACC are transcripted AFTER the student enrolls at a participating college listed on the ACC record. Most of the ACC are with Minnesota community and technical colleges. There is no direct cost to the student. ACC credits at SCSU (St. Cloud State University) will be transferred as ELECTIVE credits. The www.CTEcreditMN.com houses the student ACC records and can be accessed by the students. Transcripted credits at any of the participating MN PLTW 4-year institutions have a fee that is charged directly to the student (approximately $100). These transcripted credits are a permanent record at the 4 year institution where the student pays the fee. Transcripted credits are more transferable to other colleges/universities. These credits are a direct match with a university class. Forms for transcripted college credits are located on www.mnpltw.org. Students can use both the ACC system as well as the "transcripted credit" option.
